The morning of July 5, 2011 Otis woke with several small bumps, about 5 or 6. Thinking he might have had a reaction to something or possible bug bites I gave him Benadryl. We packed the pups for Grandma’s and left town for 5 days. Upon returning Otis had several more bumps and the older ones were crusted over and bloody under the fur. It was also obvious he had been chewing at this feet. A vet appointment was scheduled for the next day.

We are currently at Otis’s stage during July. Current prednisone and antibiotics. We go to UC Davis in 10 days. Little success with medication.
How long did take before open sores, crust scabbing diminished?
She became really sore when the sores prominent, but does not pad infections.
Did Otis show joint pain at week one of initial scabbing?
We have a mess on our hands.
It took over a month once on the right meds to get sores and scabbing to stop, he still has the occasional lesion but very rare. He was in total pain everywhere. It did get better on Tramadol.
What is your dogs name? What dosage of Prednisone is she one and what antibiotic?
